Ms. Cyd Smith, a School Counselor in the Cheltenham School District received the Cheltenham Area Branch NAACP Educational Achievement Award.
The diversity of her experience ranges from counseling juvenile delinquents, providing emotional, social, and academic support to youths in a group home setting, developing and securing funding for after school enrichment programs, to School Counseling.
For the last 13 years, she has been a member of Cheltenham School District, where she spent the first eight years as a School Counselor at Cheltenham High School. Since 2011, She has been a School Counselor at Elkins Park School.
