American Public Health Association

Many people are unaware of the presence of poor maternal health outcomes which are driven by a lack of constructive community policies and programs to help address this very serious issue.

In response, Black Maternal Health Week (BMHW), was created to draw attention to this problem and give a platform to those affected.  BMWH runs from April 11-April 17.

Find out more about BMHW at the American Public Health Association and BlackMommasmatter.org.
